Does everyone agree squads take too long to load and are kinda difficult to look through? I'm thinking of changing a couple of things

yes, need lots time to load. making a list, just plain text?


I would say no to bonus for tournament winners.


an idea.
Number of cards limit.
Lets say somebody has 25 player cards. He/she only can get more if buys a "academy/coach" bonus card. When he/she reaches 50 cards has to buy another, and then another after 75... etc. (Or it can be 20/40/60... numbers just for example).
Reason is to make harder for top players, so obviously these "coach" cards should be quite expensive. Lets say first 1000, second 2000, third 4000.
thoughts?

But what about those who already have 100 or so cards? They'd get an unfair advantage since I can't really take cards away from them.

I have to quote your post with my squad to get the links and open them in tabs. It takes forever to load and when you have a crappy internet speed like this moi, it's even worse.

I like the idea and if we're starting from scratch every season, it could work. That's where the Cynthia coach card comes into play too.

Is it confirmed we're starting from scratch at the beginning of every season, btw?

I have really fast internet, and it still takes a while. Maybe you could make a sub forum for TCG with a topic for each user that would have his/her squad? Or an ImageShack/Photobucket thing

If you have a look at yours now as an example, I've split it into 2 parts for big squads (part 1 players, part 2 surface cards) and you can just click on each thumbnail to view the full size image.

I really like that idea. I think that by just doing mine, you already decreased loading times significantly.

I don't know if game starts from beginning next year. I just presumed.
But if not, and everybody keeping their cards, than it could be implemented right now somehow... (like, giving 1 month for everybody to decide what they use: giving up cards, or paying for the extra squad cards.)

I know its maybe looking bad for some, but when you have ~20 IF card and 70-100 normal card... its hardly challenging. And it would close the gap a bit between Top players and newcomers, and gives more strategy to assemble your squad.

maybe facepalm can remove half of the cards at the end of the year using the randomizer

What if we start fresh next year and you're allowed to keep a certain number of cards? We can choose which ones they are. (Set amounts of each, IF, Normal and Surface)
That way people don't have to worry about losing their most valuable cards.

Yeah. I think that's a good idea.
Maybe for every week, you get a certain number of points based on your placement. Then whoever gets the most points wins a bonus.
