I think the plan is that people will only be able to pick one player. If we only had 8 people playing and they all picked the same player it'd be pretty boring

Re: TCG: Feedback & Suggestions

I have an idea for next year. We can made a google doc spreadsheet with all the names and put their weekly point totals in it and see who has the most at the end. (And whether we'll have another slamless no. 1 )

Isn't that what the rankings are for?

It's slightly different. The current rankings show how much people have at the moment, but these would show who makes the most points per week (even if they spend more points in the shop than others)

Oh yeah I could do that

Would people prefer to keep their old points for 2012 or for everyone to start on a level playing field? One of the negatives about this game is that it was really hard for newcomers to catch up.

Another reason why it would be nice to have two ranking systems.

Indeed. How about the defending points for next season? Is there such thing?

Re: TCG: Feedback & Suggestions

Maybe you should allow everyone to keep 15/20 cards and then allow everyone to pay to keep additional cards. As a result, people with a lot of cards at the beginning of next year would have low rankings and people with high rankings wouldn't have as many cards... I think that this would even things out, allow players to keep the cards they really want, and allow people with high point totals to keep the rewards of their victories.

Just a suggestion.

Maybe the year after with the total points earned thing. But we don't have to worry about that for a while.

Re: TCG: Feedback & Suggestions

I also think that inactive players' cards should be auctioned off

Or maybe put on a market for double their trade in value?
