Re: Mirjana's spring 2013 campaign

With some luck they could go really deep. I hope they are hungry for some doubles because even prize money is good(Winning team gets 200 000 euros).

Re: Mirjana's spring 2013 campaign

Tanked? Wouldn't shock me if JJ didn't want to stay in Madrid. They could not pull out since they got a wc.
And they played first match?
I know Miki would not do it, but JJ maybe.

Re: Mirjana's spring 2013 campaign

doesn't bother me that they lost. she needs to concentrate on qualifying in Rome to defend pts there.

Re: Mirjana's spring 2013 campaign

Is it a course or what?

Black/Erakovic easily in the final.

Memphis: Lucic/Czink lose R1 to LLW/Pegula-they reach final
Florianapolis: Lucic/Alves lose R2 to Keothavong/Sav.-they make it to final
Indian Wells: Lucic/Jankovic lose R2 to Srebotnik/Petrova- they make it to final
Stuttgart: Lucic/Jankovic lose R2 to Barthel/Lisicki- they win the tournament
Madrid: Lucic/Jankovic lose to Black/Erakovic- they make it to at least final

Re: Mirjana's spring 2013 campaign

she plays Lourdes Dominguez Lino in the first round of qualifying. She's a quality clay courter. Mirjana should have plenty of break opportunities with linos serve but needs to take care of her serve. It figures to be a close match.
