Re: Andrea in Asia (Tokyo/Beijing)

Re: Andrea in Asia (Tokyo/Beijing)

Something was bound to go right sometime today, All these broken pieces fit together to make a perfect picture of us
It got cold and then dark so suddenly and rained, It rained so hard the two of us were the only thing
That we could see for miles and miles
And in the middle of the flood I felt my worth, When you held onto me like I was your little life raft
Please know that you were mine as well
Drops of water hit the ground like God's own tears
And spread out into shapes like Salad bowls and basins and buckets for bailing out the flood

Re: Andrea in Asia (Tokyo/Beijing)

Re: Andrea in Asia (Tokyo/Beijing)

Re: Andrea in Asia (Tokyo/Beijing)

The injury destroyed her career Now Andrea has to start from zero

At least Jankovic got bye Andrea and not some annoying other players. That`s the only positive thing I can see. The biggest problem is Andrea`s serve. Andrea has huge problems to hold her service games, like Karatantcheva. Despite 1st serve % of 84 % Andrea won only 53 % 1st serve points. Broken 5 times in 9 service games. Shows how weak Andrea`s serve is. Her serve never was a big weapon. But now it is worse than ever.

Serena: "We have great personalities like Jelena (Jankovic) on the tour."
Jelena: "If I had to pick someone after me, I'd pick Serena."

Good Luck
Serena Williams Maria Sharapova Jelena Jankovic
A. Radwanska V. Zvonareva C. Wozniacki N. Petrova M. Hingis
T. Paszek A. Chakvetadze K. Sprem J. Dokic I. Tulyaganova A. Myskina

Linz WC for Andrea!
So mk27 has to explain to me now how that works as he told us before that it isn´t possible that she plays there as Azarenka is already here

Maybe the WTA has realized that it's stupid that a player ranked outside of the top 100 has still top 10 player restrictions.

It's a Top 20-WC: http://www.tennisnet.com/oesterreich...-dabei/4349526

Re: Andrea in Asia (Tokyo/Beijing)

I just rewatched the highlights of her final against Radwanska last year. What a difference a year can make.

FLAVIA PENNETTA

US OPEN CHAMPION 2015

Thank you for all these moments over the last years! Supported you until your final point!

Was it the best Petko ever? I can't remember her better match.

She was taken out of the top ten list because of " long term injury"(more than 8 weeks) . TBE explained it on the Linz entry list thread

Top 10 player have a compensation at the end of the year . She was not going to get it because she missed most Premier mandatory & P5

C. Compensation (page 13 on the pdf)
