We can write in here all the stuff that is not Sveta related so that we have something to talk about and chat while Sveta is not playing as now (by the way I miss the excitement of her matchs even if it's usually nerve and suffering) and this way we keep the forum active.I've seen in forums of other players I visit they have that kind of thread. What do you think?
So I want to start this thread,as I didn't know exactly where to fit this message, wishing Mel (meltjuuuh) ,one of the nicest Sveta fans around a
VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! :bdaycake: Enjoy your day mel have loads of fun and presents
I found a thread about Olga Morozova in this same forum in "Blast from the past".So for the ones, like me,who didn't know much about new Sveta's coach,I thought it would be interesting.
I've been looking on internet for videos of her as I'm really curious to see how she played, but 0 success so far It's already difficult to find photos of Olga, let alone videos.
Hi, Veronika, if you know russian quit good, you could find a lot of information about Morozova including photos here
and download her book "Only tennis"
I am not tennis fan for a long time, I just read a lot about her, I understood she was a baseliner who liked to finish point near the net.
I don't know what will bring their work . I just believe in Sveta's intuition and their talant of player and coach. And wish them good luck.
Thanks a lot for the links you posted.
I tried to download the book, but I can't see it properly.I get only strange characters when I open the file.Do you know if I can download it in any other site?

Well, in the RuNet you can download it as .rar file - I gave your one of links - I tried it, and it worked well for me. I don't know what is wrong.
Other way is public library like this http://morozova-olga.viv.ru/cont/morosov/1.html
I just don't understand how to turn over the pages, just change number at the end of Page URL?
Elena Likhotseva, one of Sveta's best friends on tour has retired Sveta and Lena won a couple of tourneys together in 2004 and were an olympic pair as well in Athens.
I wish Lena the best in her new life She will be missed on tour.
you were a fan of Lena? I wasn't a fan but had a big respect for her. She's the first russian player I can remember competing on tour, before Kournikova. She has had a long career
Спасибо for pix Вероника!
btw Sveta said im her recent interview that Lena is one of the rare guests in her house from wta tour.
Good luck to Elena in her future career! I think she will be couch of Evgenia Rodina cause I saw in russian news video about trainings of kids and they showed Lena who worked with Zhenya.
I found some amazing pics of St Petersburg,Sveta's hometown and one of the most beautiful cities in the world in my humble oppinion . I hope you like them If not, simply ignore this post
No wonder Sveta wanted to go home . My parents did go way back in USSR times, and pronounced it the most beautiful city they'd ever seen. I've had a call to go to Russia in general since before Sveta. This reinforces it.
I already knew it was beautifull we have a traveling program on tv and few months ago was st. petersburg in that program they showed a lot of the things that where on the pics in the link you posted. I would love to go there but to go alone I am not a hero in that and nobody wants to come with me
oh! it's my fav city! I was there so many times (my dad is from Sankt-petersburg and all his relatives live there) I visit Peterburg every summer and sometimes at winter but still I didn't attend all its sightseeings!

my fav place in sankt-petersburg is Griboedov Channel
oh you are so lucky to go there every summer,Tatianadove! Beautiful pic you also posted.I was there years ago and that city has a special magic that I've not found in other places. The Russian teacher I had last year is also from St Petersburg and always talked about it (the one I have this year is from Ukraine,I think because she talks a lot about Kiev).

Well, she lost (thanks to Sveta I'm used now to my faves losing finals). But still a great year for Vera I'm happy for her.She was such a sweetie when I met her in Fed Cup,very nice woman
veronika
I was going for Ana in that match though  and Caro lost to Elena 7-6 in the third set Caro is probably my second favourite player after Sveta
