WHat's the deal with qualifying?

Hey guys

I will be Sydney this year, was thinking of attending qualifying but couldn't really see much info on the official website, was wondering if anyone had been in previous years? Can you show up for free like other tournaments? Or are the matches played on closed courts not accessible to the public?

The qualifying days Friday and Saturday are for free and the public has full access to the courts. You can walk around the grounds from 10ish I assume and can see the pros play and practice. You also usually have access to the Main Stadium as well.

If it starts at 10 I guess you'd be able to get in from 9 or something.
