On a side note, Sun Tian Tian is back up to 150 in the rankings, Chinese rank number 5 again, after a decent showing in the qualies at RG. Hope she does not lose too much ground on the competition during Wimbledon, which of course she won't be playing

Tian Tian has a good draw in Beijing 50k, hope she takes advantage and gets to at least the semis vs Jie, maybe even getting to the finals and winning her first 50k tournament Best of luck Sun

Actually, I think Tiantian has a rather tough draw. Yan can be tough, and Marina is very talented. Anyways, go Tiantian!

Sun Tian Tian destroyed Cassandra Barr 6-0 6-1 in Beijing 1st Round... Why not the double bagel?
Keep it up girl, win this thing! I'm not looking forward to when Tian2 will lose 84 points after her good showing at Wimbledon last summer

I am really not interested in seeing Tiantian's ranking after Wimbledon

And I am not too interested in Ting's ranking after Guangzhou either

Li/Sun lost to Yan/Zheng 6-1 7-5 in Beijing, never mind
Li was probably tired after winning the singles! rather convincingly against Yan too, 6-1 6-3? well done

Don't worry, AndrewC, Tiantian will not stay in the 200's for long, she will climb back up to where she really belongs!

In the Fed Cup play-offs, if Na and Shuai don't play, Tiantian will probably play singles for China, right?
