Like randomly the shot stops working and it's like you've never hit it. The last two weeks, idk wtf has happened, but my go to shot, backhand, that i hit so well completely died on me. Like my grip is fucked, everything is off centered. Idk what the fuck happened. I'm taking two weeks off to just chill and hope that when I hit again it just naturally comes back.

The same thing happened with my serve last week. I was shanking it over the fence, super randomly, finally got it's flow back. This happens once or twice a year. So random, no idea why. It's like anti tennis syndrome.

Has this ever happened to any of you guys?

My backhand all the time. I've been struggling with it for the past year and sometimes it comes back but sometimes its like 'wow, wtf happened '. As well as my serve, smash and volleys. My fh is usually strong and I don't lose it often.

My serve. It hasn't been the same for about a year. Lost a lot of power, regularly shank it. It's a massive, MASSIVE liability when it's going badly.

Well there's no such thing as a shot randomly breaking down. Something changes which you don''t realize and it appears that your shot randomly is gone.

The better player you are, the less these events occur because you get better at knowing your game and the adjustments you need to make for different situations.

I'm at the point where I never feel a part of my game is randomly gone. If a shot is off, I can figure out what I'm doing wrong and correct it pretty quickly.
