I refuse to use them, I absolutely hate them! I get no feel on the ball.

Emm no.
Sensible means making the right choices while sensitive means affected by slight changes.

I used a dampener for a while but my forehand went AWOL, I was late of everything and my dropshots were more like lobs, so I had to take it off.

Re: Vibration Dampeners?

I lost mine like a year ago and I didn't bother to buy another one, and I thought the difference wasn't that big until 2 days ago, when my mate found a vibration dampener on the court and gave it to me cause he already had one, my God I hit the ball with much more conviction and the match ended up in a tie, and I hadn't won a set against him in months First match in ages in which I hit winners of every kind: forehands, backhands, volleys, overheads, even aces And the occasional dropshots of course

The belief that man is an irresolute creature pulled this way and that by two forces of equal strength, alternately winning and losing the battle for his soul; the conviction that human life is nothing more than an uncertain struggle between heaven and hell; the faith in two opposed entities, Satan and Christ - all this was bound to engender those internal discords in which the mind, excited by the incessant fighting, stimulated as it were by the constant promises and threats, ends up by giving in and prostitutes itself to whichever of the two combatants has been more obstinate in its pursuit. Life isn't black and white, it's gold.

Re: Vibration Dampeners?

I did use them, until I changed my racket

I remember when I was warming up with my old racket and I went to do some smashes then all of a sudden I couldn't smash, serve, forehand or backhand and I realised my vibration dampener fell off

Re: Vibration Dampeners?

I get no feel on my shots when I use a dampener, however I do not like the ping sound one bit. I had a Prince dampener that I really liked and played well with, but unfortunately lost it a year ago. Tbh, I now use a #64 rubber band as a "dampener" and they work like a treat for me. But yeah, weirdly I don't like playing without one.

Re: Vibration Dampeners?

Imo, Prince ones are good. Head ones tend to fall off a lot
And the Wilson smiley face ones aren't bad either

I Really dislike the ones who fall off a lot

Sent from Verticalsports.com Free App

Something was bound to go right sometime today, All these broken pieces fit together to make a perfect picture of us
It got cold and then dark so suddenly and rained, It rained so hard the two of us were the only thing
That we could see for miles and miles
And in the middle of the flood I felt my worth, When you held onto me like I was your little life raft
Please know that you were mine as well
Drops of water hit the ground like God's own tears
And spread out into shapes like Salad bowls and basins and buckets for bailing out the flood
