Re: Vibration Dampeners?

By far the best one I've ever used:

It's a Prince, model TX208. I don't think you can buy them retail--mine shipped with a couple of old Prince racquets I bought 5 or 6 years ago, but I did manage to find one on eBay several months back. I think Prince is making newer models of this type, however--probably the same effect. I swear by them--the difference without and with is like night and day, never had one fall out, and I hit harder than anyone within at least a couple of counties....

Re: Vibration Dampeners?

thanks for the recommendation

Something was bound to go right sometime today, All these broken pieces fit together to make a perfect picture of us
It got cold and then dark so suddenly and rained, It rained so hard the two of us were the only thing
That we could see for miles and miles
And in the middle of the flood I felt my worth, When you held onto me like I was your little life raft
Please know that you were mine as well
Drops of water hit the ground like God's own tears
And spread out into shapes like Salad bowls and basins and buckets for bailing out the flood

Re: Vibration Dampeners?

I use rubber bands and now I have got addicted to them. Never thought I would trade my dampener for a rubber band, but I did. It actually dampens better and adds zero weight to your racket, whereas a normal dampener at least adds 3 grams to your racket.

Championship: TP3 Wimbledon 2011, Suicide Tennis New Haven 2011
RUP: TT Doubles AO 2012

Re: Vibration Dampeners?

I use a rubber band as well. They're super light in weight and still allow a tad bit of feel imo. I'll never use anything else.

Re: Vibration Dampeners?

I used to use rubber bands but ever since I switched to Yonex Ezone Ai 100 I haven't felt the need.
