Entered in a tournament with my fiance this weekend... any tips?

So we've entered in a tournament, starts this weekend (quite soon actually!). I've practiced a lot with my partner, and truth be told he serves better, hits the ball harder... unless there's a lot of wind, he usually beats me lol. Anyway, he can be a bit of a headcase sometimes, for example once while we were doing a practice tiebreak he started with a double fault, got pissed and well - I won 7-0 (I did play fab, but he played like a... crab?).
Anyway, I think we'll only win if I'm able to keep him in a good headspace, any tips on how I can keep him happy? And before someone suggests it, no I'm not going to touch his *lala between points
Hugs and Kisses

Thank you for everything Mercedes, now please be nice to Socrates for me, perhaps fetch him a bird or two. We love you, always.

... advice from people so far (both who wished it to be annonymous)
  • Put some vodka in his water bottle
  • Use a cane, it worked for Agassi

i like to talk alot between points with my doubles-partner

cheer him up after each single ball, when he miss a ball say something like "don´t worry, the next one will be better"
and after a good ball tell hime stuff like "great shot"

stuff like that works for me very well

If he stuffs up at net serve/hit the ball into him. Works for me.

I "accidentally" hit a backhand at my doubles partner's ass when he missed an easy put away volley. He didn't miss another one the whole match.
I am the next Richard Williams.

We played pretty well, made it to the semi's only to lose to the top seeds and defending champion. I even hit a 17kph ace
