Re: What's Your Best Shot?

Backhand, I'm in love with my backhand but my forehand

The belief that man is an irresolute creature pulled this way and that by two forces of equal strength, alternately winning and losing the battle for his soul; the conviction that human life is nothing more than an uncertain struggle between heaven and hell; the faith in two opposed entities, Satan and Christ - all this was bound to engender those internal discords in which the mind, excited by the incessant fighting, stimulated as it were by the constant promises and threats, ends up by giving in and prostitutes itself to whichever of the two combatants has been more obstinate in its pursuit. Life isn't black and white, it's gold.

Re: What's Your Best Shot?

I have 6 or 7 equally great shots that people see me rip for winners or are affective weapons. My biggest strength overall is my backhand ... I can hit inside out crosscourt - mid court or create any angle I choose. My dtl backhand is something I use usually to dispatch a weak serve but hardly use in a rally. I have a strong forhand inside out shot I use to end points with but my favorite and go to shot is when I step in and hit the fdtl ESP when u get a shoulder length ball. I deal with those balls rather harshly...although my movement around the court is exceptional and I can slice affectively And have good volley skills too. I'm pretty good on the run as well

I like my DTL forehand. During a hit not long ago I hit a real screamer.

Re: What's Your Best Shot?

I suppose my best groundie is the forehand down the line. Ive developed a perfect lob too though from playing a 6'7 guy for the entire summer but I love drop volleys too, mainly because I love luring them up to the net and then using a mid court lob. I suppose lob, I love it, especially how infuriating it must be for my opponents.

Re: What's Your Best Shot?

It depends on how I'm playing. Usually my forehand is consistent. I can hit it decently cross court (preferably inside out) but I prefer DTL. My backhand when on is pretty decent both CC (inside out too) and DTL, but that's not very often. I do love hitting backhands though . Same applies to my serve, although I've learnt to control that and put more spin on it. My moonballs are amazing too! I hit a moonball winner once!

Forehand CC, also DTL with a lot of spin. My backhand sucks

Re: What's Your Best Shot?

I can consistently make a topspin lob winner. I'm pretty consistent off both wings, but I redirect the ball really well with my backhand.

Definitely my forehand straight to the fence. My overhead whiff is spectacular too -- better than the one Graf hit against Sanchez-Vicario in the '95 Wimbledon final.

Crosscourt forehand. That's my killer shot.

Re: What's Your Best Shot?

for me it's my backhand volley, which is the unorthodox swinging two-hander at all times. I just seem to have great timing with it and usually make good contact. My forehand down the line is my second best for sure.
Everything else pretty much is hit or miss

I've always really focused on the drop shot and passing shots (including the lob). Lately I've been practicing my volleys as well.

Re: What's Your Best Shot?

Forehand DTL and lob. I seem to not do well with crosscourt shots in general, especially on the backhand. I can only hit my backhand accurately to the middle of the court, so pointless
