Why do so many people here use Yonex? I've never even thought about using one. Are they good?

Your have a "great" looking new tennis racket there & what was your criteria for choosing this particular racket ? Personally speaking I think the rackets "grip" is the most important part of any racket to consider when buying a new one because if the rackets grip or handle doesn't feel comfortable when playing than you're made a mistake in buying it. Also can you tell me if your new racket is light or heavy in weight ? Regards Peter !

They are the best but in all seriousness. I think they make really good quality rackets and always have great paint jobs.

yes, the best brand of racket in my opinion.
it is suitable for ballbashers (vaidisova and sabine), but also counter punchers (kerber, hewitt etc)

That's why you bought a Wilson then... they actually are the best looking, they always have great paint jobs it's so conceded that I'd rather have a nice looking racquet than a really good one

I don't know why but I've always associated them with pushers maybe I should look into one!

Plus a neon orange grip w/my green Prince strings? My friend tried it out and gave it back to me after a couple shots because it was too "distracting" to hit with.

I was referring to Yonex being attractive that does look nice still though.

I agree with you about the grip, but you can always customize a grip by wrapping overgrip on it. I apply two overgrips on my racquets, one Babolat Pro Team for the cushion-like comfort and another Babolat VS original for the feel and tackiness. They provide the perfect feel for the racquet, without sacrificing comfort or tack.
