Head Microgel Extreme... Best control/power combo and you feel the ball exactly where it hits and how you hit every time you hit it no pains!!!

Re: What tennis racquet do u use?

I'm using the Wilson BLX Pro Lite. It is very light, only 255 grams. It is so manoeuvrable and it has a lot of power and spin.
It has nice feel too, I really like it Only downside is perhaps that it is not very forgiving on off-centre shots, it perhaps lacks a bit of control.
But I learn to cope with that

Here is a clip about it. btw the racquet in the clip has a white grip, I have a black one.

I use the Wilson Coral Reef BLX. It's pink, totally cute, and is a great first racket for high school tennis. (:

Re: What tennis racquet do u use?

Thinking of switching from the Yonex V Core 95 to the V Core 89. Does anyone use this racket or have they demoed it?

Currently switching between a Wilson K Fierce FX (low tension) and a Wilson BLX Tidal Wave (low-mid tension).

...in the market for a new racquet, trying to find something that's elbow friendly.

Those who are thinking of buying a Price raquet should give a second thought. There are rumors that the whole company have serious financial problems. A total exit from tennis won't be a surprizing move during next seasons.

Re: What tennis racquet do u use?

I've also heard some things about Prince. Although there will be so much stock still available (and probably cheaply) it wouldn't put me off buying from them just yet.

As for me I use a strange racquet for you guys I am sure. The Adidas Barricade Tour

330grams with a nice 95 square inch head. It's super solid and great for hitting with players who hit a heavier ball, however as I have quite a short swing and its pretty heavy if I don't play for a while and then hit for 3-4 hours I know about it later!

I get a lot of stick from my friends who say its a bit of a plank of wood, but I have played with a lot of different racquets and it suits me at the moment. Although I wouldn't recommend it to people I teach

I just played with a Volkl Organix 4. I am actually too powerful for that frame, I never thought I'd see the day!

I still use Yonex vCore 100s but I've switched strings to Luxilon Savage Black and they're so nice

After holding on to my Yonex RDS 001 mid for as long as possible I finally demoed and switched to the Yonex VCore Tour 89.

I love it. Very easy access to spin, great control, really maneuverable at net. I haven't gotten my serve to kick in yet, but this racket combined with my big banger strings are giving me really fantastic groundies.

I'm loving it too. I was a little worries as I hadnt played with such a small head since since the Ti 70 10 years ago but this racket is awesome. My ground strokes are with this racket.
