Crying uncontrollably, Gianna Adrianna Dulko responds to the death of her long-time doubles partner Anabel Conde-Martinez.
"I am so saddened and shocked by my good friends death. Anabel was great, she was a good singles player, and helped me have the great doubles success that we had. We won Bali, and that was our most proud achievement. Anabel was always supportive, even when the worst was worst, and well I will miss her so much. I will take a break from playing doubles, but I will still play singles to keep me on the tour. I might take a leave of absence from the tour for a week or so to go attend Anabel's funeral in Spain, as I live in Poland. Anabel was my good friend, and I just dont know what to say... (Dulko crys uncontrollably and leaves press conference).
Dulko will be looking for a doubles partner in the near future, as Anabel was her first and only doubles partner. They were doubles partners for the last 3 years, starting from their time in juniors. Let Anabel Conde-Martinez rest in peace.
