Before seasons last slam Ivanovic have clean advantage in points, but after "perfect" draw Jankovic chances is actualy good to overtake her again.
To back again at Serbian #1 Jelena Jankovic needs just to beat today Sybile Bammer (lead 6-1 in h2h) in USO QF. If she reach final (against Dementieva probably) she have good chances to stay at #1 for long time.
Bad things is that if Jelena not reach USO final since next week Serbian#1 will not means Worlds#1 in same time, and if JJ reach final, but lose - she will be WTA#1 if USO Winner is not Serena.

and I'm not even fan of Ana Ivanovic... just an objective observer who realize how perfect she is

AMAZING BELGRADE MIRACLE: In just three years (2008-2011) 5 different players born in same city reach world #1 in rankings and several GS titles and finals (WTA singles: Ana Ivanovic and Jelena Jankovic, ATP singles: Novak Djokovic, ATP doubles: Nenad Zimonjic and Daniel Nestor... with notable performances of Bojana Jovanovski, Janko Tipsarevic and Viktor Troicki which is also all three born in Belgrade)
