hopefully patty will not pull out becuase of the arm injury. she has played anca once before and lost in 3 sets but it was a time when patty was struggling so it shouldn't mean too much.

apparently patty isn't going to play doubles this week - presumably because of the injury.

Whoever said Anca was my fave; I merely Said She got screwed Out Of a MD WC @ Leipzig Last year so Elke could get a (totally undeserved) one. BTW, I've ALSO said that Peppermint Patty got screwed Out Of One Of the 4 "elective" Gold Exempts for '03 after winning Zuruch, so Anna could get one, right?

bovina could be tough or could be extremely easy. she does have the ability to hit patty of the court but she has been playing pretty awfully all year. patty should be able to through this one i think.

JR you should of said go anca when both players are left handed. for a second i thought you were saying go patty and i was going to give you positive reps. lucky i forget to.

Bovina d Patty 3-6 7-6 (5) ret. :-(

this is a tough one to swallow, Patty should've won it in straight sets, she was up a break in the second... i thought as well that Patty would get through this match comfortably.

As with Berlin, I didn't want PP to lose due to injury, regardless of any "other issues". I hope she's healthy for RG.

Patty, whatever it is, hope this week of rest and light training will heal it for the better.

yes but i forgot 1) barna is left handed 2) you like her. i therefore got confused because it seemed like you were supporting patty, which seemed out of character. i meant my comment in a light hearted way ie be careful JR or people will think you are supporting patty again

OK, but where she IS right (Possible/Probable Polish Pranks, Courtesy Conchita) or Decidely Definite Dubious Dealing of '03 Gold Exempt to Accomodate Anna) I Will Weigh in for Peppermint Position Re. Row!
