Well Julia did indeed lose and as far as I can see Shahar hasn't played yet.
You are right this kind of sucks.
Let me think about it.

Re: Who will last longer 2013

The solution to this should be quite obvious:
Counting # of rounds o MD , instead staying longest in days.

2016- Tipping: Winner-Dubai
2013- Tipping: Winner-AEGON Eastbourne;Carlsbad;Linz
2012- Tipping:Winner-Aus Open;London OG C-Y-P: Winner-Miami;Montreal Pentathlon:Winner-Stanford;London OG
2011- Tipping: Winner-Baku
2010- Tipping: Winner-Generali Ladies Linz;
2009 Winner Tipping:
Portoroz;2008 Winner Suicide Tennis: Generali Ladies Linz Tipping: Fortis Luxembourg;Kremlin Cup;Guangzhou;New Haven;OG Beijing;Los Angeles;Rome

Re: Who will last longer 2013

Well Shahar did win her R1 doubles match this morning, but clearly she is only tied with Glushko atm, and OOP does not make her achievement better in any way (Friday edit: Shahar won her doubles QF match as well and she and dresenson are the clear winners this week, congrats; but the rest of my post is still relevant for future tie-breaking cases).
It's not just this week - we have to determine this issue once and for all. I don't think that this should even be a breaker in case of a tie.

If we switch to "who will go deeper", then tie-breakers are:
1) number of MD wins (can be different depending on draw size or a bye).
2) singles result over doubles result.
3) There are number of options here: stronger tournament, ranking of opposition, number of sets/games dropped. Maybe someone has a better idea?

Re: Who will last longer 2013

Well I think I'm giving up on the game.
There are some really bad vibes here and I was struggling myself anyway to keep updating this due to lack of time and consistent bad results from Israeli players on the tour.

Archer, you are more than welcome to start a thread for the game with the rules as you suggested. Maybe it will work out better than the current game. I will gladly participate if you start it.

shirgan. I am sorry you decided to gave up, but it is understandable. I think you really did a good work and while we don't have the luxury of the real competition between a Israeli players your rules were fare and right. Those rules brought some addition of luck where competitiveness was missing. Thank you again.

I'm sorry to hear that and I hope you'll reconsider.
I could have done it myself but I'm quite busy at work lately (which also caused me to see embarrassingly little of the AO and Fed Cup and not write a word about both for the first time in years) plus I have just taken over as PAW rankings manager here which also eats up some of my spare time.
As said I love your daily updates (well, the way they are being made, not the actual results lately ) and it is your game.

The last thing I wanted to do is to discourage you or to give "bad vibes" in any way, and I have praised you more than once for coming up with the idea of this game, even if I felt it needed a bit of tweaking.
As for the bad results and "the race to the bottom" as it has been called, well there isn't anything we can do about it.

I agree with every word dresenson said.

Excellent decision. Sometimes it is better to cut one's losses short. Hopefully, Israel's number 1 player will adopt the same philosophy in the next 12 to 18 months.

Race to the bottom or not, I miss this game and the incentive to track the draws and results on the ITF site
Wish I had the time to run it myself
