Re: Shahar Cheering Thread 2012

yep. indeed he was a former pro player, he retired last year(lack of motivation) and was going to go to school but instead he was part of team gulbis and travelled with him the second half of the season, and he decided to become a coach instead. he s been travelling with him in every tournament this year too and i knew he was friends with shahar from some years ago. they started working together now and i hope he can bring her the positive attitude and all his energy to make her doing great results again!!

Alize Cornet- Agi Radwanska- Caro Wozniacki

Slava Shvedova- Bel Bencic- Alize Lim

Great that you know him. Can you tell him to make her hit winners again please?
I really feel sorry for you, being a fan of Shahar's is really tough most of the time.

Most embarrassing loss by Peer this year.

Bouchard/Peer 3-6 6-2 7-5.

How low can she go?

Re: Shahar Cheering Thread 2012

Well you see this is a WTA tournament. Once she goes back to 100k tourneys the chances to loss to lower ranked players are much higher.

Re: Shahar Cheering Thread 2012

She just can't get a break can she?
VS. Goerges in the R1 of Cincinnati. Great H2H of 0-3 without winning a single set or getting more than 3 games a set.
GREAT.

Re: Shahar Cheering Thread 2012

Those 6 games were a career high against Goerges. Definitely a step forward.

I wish she had Wozniacki's forehand, saying that is sad.

Re: Shahar Cheering Thread 2012

Shahar is out for the rest of 2012.

From her Facebook page
to all my loyal friends
I want you to be the first to know that since January, I have had an injury in my left leg and it never really healed. Practices and tournaments only made it worse. Therefore, I decided to take the rest of the 2012 season off to treat my body, rest, and get ready in the best possible way for the 2013 season. I want to thank you all for your amazing support throughout this tough year I had. It means so much to me! I promise to give my all and come as ready as possible to the 2013 season.
Yours, Shaharacebook page::

Poor Shahar. Hoping 2013 is a great year for her, and hopefully top 20 will be within reach again.

Any news on how Shahar is doing? Her Facebook account has very few updates now it seems...
