Shahar's next tournaments in 2010 - Tokyo, Bejing, Osaka

In ynet it said she was going to defend her points from last year but she doesn't seem to be in any of the coming draws...
anyone knows what her next tournament is going to be?

She is entered in the Toray Pan Pacific Open(Premier) which is at the same time as Tashkent. The following week, she is entered in the China Open($4.5 Million Premier)To "defend" her points she needs to go fairly deep in each of these two tournaments.

Re: Shahar's next tournaments in 2010?

by the way I noticed the toray pacific open is one week after tashkent so she will lose 310 points before she will be able to regain them

Hopefully Shahar will be able to pick up a lot of points in the Asian tournaments.

Melanie Oudin (USA) - Kaia Kanepi (EST)
Petra Kvitova (CZE) - Alona Bondarenko (UKR)
[3] Jelena Jankovic (SRB) bye

Par is round 3. Given JJ recent results she looks very beatable, but before that there will be in-form Kanepi, who beat Shahar convincingly in Montreal last month.

We never know, maybe Mels will help out a bit and win something... but most likely not.

Pretty good draw though none the less.

Re: Shahar's next tournaments in 2010 - Tokyo

Yes!!!

Any wins she can get are good ones. I really want her to play her way into form so she can make a deep run at Osaka. Sounds ridiculous but if she wins that, she's in Bali. If she can squeak past Kaia, JJ is still playing like shit.

Shahar down a set 3-6. They are playing on the indoors courts which suits Kanepi

Queen of Asia.

Fuck.

What court are they playing on? Does WTA livescore only show CC-C3?

Re: Shahar's next tournaments in 2010 - Tokyo

Beijing Draw out:

(3) Jelena Jankovic (SRB) vs. Klara Zakopalova (CZE)
(Q) Qualifier vs. (Q) Qualifier
Patty Schnyder (SUI) vs. Yaroslava Shvedova (KAZ)
(WC) Sun Shengnan (CHN) vs. (15) Shahar Peer (ISR)

In JJ's quarter again. But lucky vs a Chinese WC first round. Good chance to do some damage here if Kookie can take JJ out.
