Glushko pushes through to the main draw in Turkey. Wins 4-6 6-3 6-3 over Buyukakav in final qualifier. Will face Pemra Ozgen of Turkey in the first round of the main draw.

Re: Julia Glushko

Long time without an update here.
The 1st round lost at Wimbledon girls tournament (being seeded 12) from a set up was a letdown.
It's good that she got another Fed Cup experience, Tzipi won't be there forever. It was also a rare chance to see her in action. She showed glimpses of her talent, but committed way too many unforced errors. There is a lot to work on.
Well, she's still very young. I think entering the top 100 in three years is an achievable goal for her.

Re: Julia Glushko

I saw Julia play in a Summer Cup a few weeks ago, along with Nadine and Chen Astrugo. All three of them were so sweet, kind, funny and very down to earth.

I must say I liked Julia the most, she has quite a temper and hits the ball very hard, and she always seemed to enjoy herself so much.

Best of luck Julia!

Re: Julia Glushko

Good win for Julia, but still a bit too close for my liking
