I hope so..
I wonder how good is Shahar on clay?
I know its great for Anna and Yevgenia but I don't know about Shahar

anyway, groups draw is today. but it doesn't really matter who we get, cuz in order to qualify we will have to face teams from other groups as well, so bring it on

Queen of Asia.

The Fed Cup draw that was scheduled to be today at 11 AM was postpond to 7 PM. It seems that the teams were pissed at a change in the seedings system, that now looks at the teams results in the past 4 years instead of the top 2 players ranking in each taem

The full article (in Hebrew) is here:

I think, therefore I purr.

The draw is out. Israel will play in the only group that has 5 teams in it. They'll play against Sweaden (tomorrow), Belarus, Estonia and Romania.

Tomorrow Anna will play in the first match, at 10 AM, then Shahar, and finally the doubles.

I think, therefore I purr.

Shahar won 6-4 6-4
another win in straights, more and more confidence
plus the win in the doubles too..

I'm starting to be optimistic about the doubles match, though we really can lose there .. hope the girls will be tired or they will choke. it seems like our kinda only chance

Anna really shouldn't have screwed it up.

No day of rest tomorrow, I guess in Thursday then?
We play tomorrow against Estonia who beat Sweden 3-0. Every match score was better then ours The only positive thing is their scores against Belarus. Not impressive.

Anna will have to regroup and play like the real anna we know, if not we are screwed
