Indian Wells first weekend lodging

Hey everyone. Can any of you please offer any advice or tips regarding lodging the first weekend at Indian Wells? Our group will anywhere from 4 to 6 people and we would only like to rent space in a hotel or house for saturday night. My friend checked online and told me everything was already booked. We'd like to stay at a nice place. Thanks.

I tried a search on hotels.com, no free rooms in IW area, only outside the town...

I am staying in Palm Springs for a night, plenty of rooms there.

I'd rather just come back to LA but Palm Springs is nice! Anyway, we should all arrange a meet up or something

Plenty of cheap places start at $69 a night in palm spring but I went for something in the $99 range since I will just be there one night.
