But as I have not jumped off the bandwagon yet, I see what you mean with the livescores (you seem a bit more crazy while watching them than me though ). What I meant is that I understand people who have decided to stop following her.

Well I don't agree with you either . Even if a sports team is awful and makes decisions that make you want to cry (tell me about it, I'm a Montreal Canadiens fan ), you still watch them play. I was a fan of the Expos (MLB) and they were BAD, but a lost match that I could watch is still a baseball match that I could watch. On the other hand, I don't find european (nor american) football entertaining, so I don't support my local teams even if they've been very successful lately. I watch tennis because it's fun to, and I choose players I follow because their tennis is fun to watch, not (only) because of their personality. For example, Petkovic seems like a very nice and funny girl (and she's German), but I don't like her game. I wish her a fantastic career, but I don't "support" her. It may sound a bit cold, but I am a fan of Sabine's game before I am a fan of Sabine herself. I mean, like you I'm glad when she wins even if I didn't see the match, but I didn't become a fan because her name looked good on the livescore, I did because I enjoyed her game. Of course she is my favourite player because of more than her game and all but I guess you can see what I'm trying to say. If it's different for you, that's great, but that's how it is for me. "I'm not asking you to agree with me, just to understand what I mean", as we say here .

I know I now look like an untrve fan, but please don't hate me .
(Btw, sorry for all the "but", I know it's annoying, BUT I am Francophone )

So yeah, more matches...
I think you misread my post a bit. I agree that you wouldn't stop watching and supporting a sports team if their results weren't good and I apply the same thing to Sabine. I'm not only a fan of Sabine because of one thing either. I'm also a fan of Sabine's game. Her big booming serve and groundstrokes, but I also love her smile, the way she talks, her kindness and sense of humour.
Caroline Wozniacki looks to be a lovely girl with nice personality too and she's had very good results, but she's a little frustrating to watch play because her style of play is very defensive.
I like you do place value on entertaining tennis, but I'll never dislike a person simply for not liking the way they play. But I admit I'd probably like Woz more if she had a more adventurous game. I am something of a casual Woz fan, but serious Sabs fan.

I didn't become a fan of Sabine because her name looked good on the livescore either. I just cannot stop supporting someone I like so much. Today Sabine sent me two lovely replies on twitter she's a great girl and I'm going to stick with her even while she's playing ITF because that's the way I am

Why would I hate you? lol. You're just expressing you're opinion and it's fine by me. You're a fan of Sabine for her game first before her, that's ok, that's the way you roll and that's the way I think it is for most people. I haven't met Sabine in 'real life' so to say, but I can't deny the impression she's made. Sabine is living her dream by being a tennis pro, but there's also alot of pressure and I can see from her replies to me on twitter, that appreciates my support. It's a first for me to follow a tennis player so closely but Sabine is really special for me

I'm supporting her and encouraging her always and I dislike criticising her, despite the faults in her game.

IMO, its better not to enter that tournament and having to face all the red clay specialists from Europe.

Monterrey is outdoor hard courts. Perhaps she can get a WC?
How many WC do most tournaments hand out?
3 in the main draw, but I don't think she'll get one. But maybe there are some withdrawals and she has a chance to get into the qualifying.

Of course and here is the problem. After Melbourne she had 3 weeks without tournaments. Now she has played Midland, but couldn't play Memphis, so at least another 2 weeks without tournaments.
IMO her form is good, but she needs more matches.

"TENNIS.com: I know you wore adidas for years and saw you recently wearing Under Armour. What is your apparel brand?

Sabine Lisicki: I used to wear adidas for seven years and my contract went up. So right now I wear whatever. "
Thus, it contributes to the time what she wants.

She hasn't decided her next tournament yet as far I can see.

Sabine held two MPs against Hradecka. Not only did Lucie win Midland, but for me she is also favourite for Memphis title.

Sabine is on a good way.
