Re: Sabine in GB (Shrewsbury/Barnstaple)

IMO the final set was just too close. A bad first set is okay but after an easy 2nd set, she should win the final set easily.

First 3-set match won since Bali last November.

I hope that she was at least 1-5 down or sth, would have been great fight then

Re: Sabine in GB (Shrewsbury/Barnstaple)

Probably shouldn't be overestimated under these circumstances. We know nothing about her preparation.

But anyway, if she loses tomorrow on her birthday...

And the last time she won 2 matches in a row, was nearly a year ago. So, important match tomorrow.

I'm happy for Bine. This win must mean a lot to her after her granny's passing.

Very close, but glad she could finish it. Important for her to win that match.
2nd round vs Heather Watson.

Re: Sabine in GB (Shrewsbury/Barnstaple)

Lost the first set 6-7 after serving for the set at 6-5

Even 75k tournaments are too tough for her

Re: Sabine in GB (Shrewsbury/Barnstaple)

It is really just bad now, nothing else, not over yet but if she loses this match, as I said, really disappointing and just weak even if her grandmother died last week, surely not great for her, but still, should always beat a player like Watson

67 01*

after *10, *21 and *65 in 1st set, well done, Sabine, you can be proud of yourself

Re: Sabine in GB (Shrewsbury/Barnstaple)

Lisicki kann bald mit Grönefeld auf Turnierreise gehen. Ich sehe bald eher Malek wieder in den Top 100 als Grönefeld und Lisicki (die nach Bali ziemlich abstürzen wird).

Re: Sabine in GB (Shrewsbury/Barnstaple)
