Singles
I like Vesnina too, but I like Agi more. And I honestly don't think she's playing that bad . She is injured and took Vesnina to three, who almost beat Stosur at the US Open and was the runner-up in Tashkent and lost to an in-form Kudryavtseva there

Daniilidou. Venus. Azarenka. Halep. Wickmayer.
Cornet. Ivanovic. Vesnina.. Vaidisova. Krajicek.
Paszek. Begu. Cirstea. Lisicki. Pavlyuchenkova.
Pironkova. Stephens. Tatishvili. McHale. Flipkens.
Grammatikopoulou ~ Papamichail ~ Sakkari
I'm obsessed with the Greek players. Deal with it.

Re: Beijing/Peking: Injured, consistent or Beijing07 Agi?

Again, it's not some horrible loss, and there are excuses of course, but if she is to be a player higher than 20 (and that's generous) in the rankings, she CAN'T lose these matches. Ever.

Re: Beijing/Peking: Injured, consistent or Beijing07 Agi?

Ági/Barbie (does anyone have a good team name ?) beat Görges/Hercog today 6-1, 7-6 (5) Ágnes got broken twice in the second set (Barbie never got broken) but she held at 5-6 and their team came through in the tiebreak, so I guess it was okay good win for them .

Prague team won
I can't cheer for them , reach girls the final, then maybe

Vesnina defeated Sharapova, so if Agi could have beaten her then maybe... injuries

Tell me about it .

Also, considering the time it is unlikely I will be here for the doubles after all. But hopefully someone will! I MIGHT be .

Re: Beijing/Peking: Injured, consistent or Beijing07 Agi?

By the way, we can safely say goodbye to Bali now that Ivanovic and Hantuchova have gotten wildcards. Now Kleybanova isn't even in, and while Sharapova may not play (possible IMO) Ági still wouldn't pass her even if she wins Luxembourg .

OMFG YES they won .

Wow, like Wimbledon, Ági has saved herself in a big tournament through doubles. She really is talented at it, I always said she should play doubles more and looks like it's paying off .
