Re: All's well that ends well

I think after the AO if she's still like this, she should go to the ITF level

Daniilidou. Venus. Azarenka. Halep. Wickmayer.
Cornet. Ivanovic. Vesnina.. Vaidisova. Krajicek.
Paszek. Begu. Cirstea. Lisicki. Pavlyuchenkova.
Pironkova. Stephens. Tatishvili. McHale. Flipkens.
Grammatikopoulou ~ Papamichail ~ Sakkari
I'm obsessed with the Greek players. Deal with it.

I don't really want her to do that... I think there is also pressure when playing ITFs. And I think some players beat themselves, so it doesn't matter whom they play when they play badly, they can still lose. Look at what happened to Lucie Safarova when she tried to play an ITF as a top seed- lost first round to someone ranked 299. I think Agi can only figure out how to win at WTA level by winning at WTA level, unfortunately. She has done it before. Playing lower level tournaments is a great start for an up and coming player. But for a slumping player like Agi, it's just an opportunity to lose to someone ranked outside the top 100 and lose even more confidence.

Anyway, the solution for a slump is not easy. I think she needs a good run in a slam next year to boost her confidence.

Yet Lucie hasn't recovered fully from her slump.

"A dragon." The cheesemonger saw the look on his face at that, and laughed. "A dragon with three heads."

I know you don't like thread recycling, so I won't touch your threads, but it's mine.
