I've given up on trying to predict her...

Basically, she PROBABLY will do horribly, but she COULD do terrific.

Lisicki and Date Krumm round out the field as wildcards.

Hopefully Ági will be drawn away from Lisicki .

Agi flew to Bali yesterday.

Winter Is Coming

"Fine words." Tyrion was unimpressed. "Words are wind. Who is this bloody savior?"
"A dragon." The cheesemonger saw the look on his face at that, and laughed. "A dragon with three heads."

Paszek. Begu. Cirstea. Lisicki. Pavlyuchenkova.

Agnes Szavay (#42)
Szavay produced her best results of 2009 on clay and collected her third career title at the GDF Suez Grand Prix (Budapest) in her native Hungary in July, becoming the first Hungarian to win the title. The 20-year-old had a lean start to the year, competing in four events without a win, but turned things around after she decided to play qualifying at Acapulco. She won two qualifying matches, then as a lucky loser advanced to the quarterfinals. After that, Szavay went on to reach the quarterfinals of the Mutua Madrilena Madrid Open and the round of 16 at Roland Garros. She scored three wins against Top 10 players this year - Venus Williams, Victoria Azarenka and Ana Ivanovic - bringing her career total to seven.

Daniilidou. Venus. Azarenka. Halep. Wickmayer.
Cornet. Ivanovic. Vesnina.. Vaidisova. Krajicek.
Paszek. Begu. Cirstea. Lisicki. Pavlyuchenkova.
Pironkova. Stephens. Tatishvili. McHale. Flipkens.
Grammatikopoulou ~ Papamichail ~ Sakkari

Re: All's well that ends well

Yeah, but she'll have a to be with a top 4 and a top 8.

IMO the best out of those are Medina Garrigues and Bartoli...

Re: All's well that ends well

Agi didn´t get luck with the draw
B Group
(2)Samantha Stosur AUS
(5)María José Martínez-Sánchez ESP
(9)Agnes Szavay HUN
Knowing the way she is playing,I must say I don´t believe in her chances.Sad,but true.Pepa may be tired and relaxed as she won the masters in doubles the last week, and let´s hope Samantha will have an off-day when she plays Agi.I´m still hoping she might surprise us and won all matches.Good luck
