The "anything but Agi" thread

Every sub-forum deserves an off-topic thread. I have an idea that the Szavay one will be different, though
Someone will ask a question, and then people will reply and then we move on to the next issue/question. I would like to ask that we don't have too many topics alive at once. Please don't have anything related to Agnes here. It can be related to tennis, just not Agnes. I'll start it off. Also, please write question #....., so we can keep track of all the questions.

Question#1: Who is your favorite active ATP player?
Mine is Marcos Baghdatis

Daniilidou. Venus. Azarenka. Halep. Wickmayer.
Cornet. Ivanovic. Vesnina.. Vaidisova. Krajicek.
Paszek. Begu. Cirstea. Lisicki. Pavlyuchenkova.
Pironkova. Stephens. Tatishvili. McHale. Flipkens.
Grammatikopoulou ~ Papamichail ~ Sakkari
I'm obsessed with the Greek players. Deal with it.

Re: <<<<<Agi's Off-Topic Thread>>>>>

No. I watched yesterday and Wednesday. iSzavay., Young lost in a 10k today to Tigran Martirosyan, an Armenian player ranked 464 this week
All Cyprus needs is a win from Baggy tomorrow

I saw all the rubbers from the US tie. James. Andy. Bryans almost did a Szavay

My other fave aside from James, Andy, Marcos and Novak is Konstantinos Economidis. He's in the 590's
He doesn't have many points to defend this year, and he lost to the #4 seed in qualifying today in a Moroccoan Challenger 3-6 6-2 6-0. Alex Jakupovic, also from Greece, #468 will most likely play doubles with Economidis this week(they play DC together all the time, except against Hungary last year when neither played, and they reached the final of the Athens Challenger together last year). Jakupovic is seeded 8th in qualifying and won QR1 and QR2 today, but he will play Jan Hajek tomorrow. I think Hajek was a former top 50 player, defientely top 75. It will be tough for him.
Economidis and Baghdatis will lose a lot of doubles points on Monday, as they failed to defend their Las Vegas semi from last year

Today was a good day for me, as the first QWC for the Athens Challenger in a few weeks was given to Thessaloniki-born, AO 2009 Junior Singles finalist Alexandros Georgoudas, who moved from Greece to Hannover, Germany in 2006 for better training. He will represent Greece now
Marcos Baghdatis is the other player who has confirmed participation in this year's tournament
I am so excited for April--2 challengers in Greece, the 2nd and 3rd EVER in Greece and Greece Davis Cup. Unfortunately, the Rhodes Challnger(tretorn serie) will be the same week as Davis Cup, so some Davis Cup players will recieve WC's for foreign challengers and foreign players will get WC's for that challenger
I'm just so excited, as the Greek women's ITF's (2 10k's and 1 50k)in March were cancelled this year, as were the 3 Greek futures in May. Hopefully they will add them on later in the year

Daniilidou. Venus. Azarenka. Halep. Wickmayer.
Cornet. Ivanovic. Vesnina.. Vaidisova. Krajicek.
Paszek. Begu. Cirstea. Lisicki. Pavlyuchenkova.
Pironkova. Stephens. Tatishvili. McHale. Flipkens.
Grammatikopoulou ~ Papamichail ~ Sakkari
I'm obsessed with the Greek players. Deal with it.
