New Television Shows

Blindspot, Limitless and Rosewood.

Any thoughts on them?

I like Blindspot.

Limitless is pretty good in an Elementary sort of way but I'm not sure if it knows what it wants be. Is it a drama or a comedy/drama?

Rosewood has possibilities but I think the dialogue patter is too cute by half.

For Dante, it follows then, that the only way to get into Hell is to insist upon it. One must deliberately exclude himself from grace by hardening his heart against it. Hell is what the damned have actively and insistently wished for.

The man that hath no music in himself, nor is not moved with concord of sweet sounds is fit for treasons, stratagems and spoils. The motions of his spirit are dull as night and his affections dark as Erebus. Let no such man be trusted. Shakespeare

Re: New Television Shows

Blindspot is good, but what happens when they run out of tattoos to look at?

Heroes Reborn is not bad, but again, I can see it turning to a complete mess if they prolong it.

Supergirl Pilot was abit cliche.

Blood and Oil is boring af.

izombie (no one talks about it here) is great. Slow to start, to picked up nicely.

Can't remember what else was supposed to be new shoes, but it doesn't look good.

I was wondering the same thing about the tattoos.

I missed the Supergirl pilot. I guess I'll have to catch it On Demand.

I'll check out izombie too.

Supergirl isn't out yet I don't think, I just saw some leaked pilot, but the lead actress acting was sorta weak.

Re: New Television Shows

Blindspot kills it. IMO it's by far the best new show I've seen. The only things that have pulled me out the story are then tag endings.

I also like Limitless but yeah it is on the edge of "story" or comedy-drama.

The Player is good but is being hurt by over-the-top action sequences.

Minority Report has a lot of potential. The main thing will be the lead actor becoming her part. Inhabiting the role.

I might have been a devoted fan of Heroes Reborn but they put Chuck in it. Chuck is one of my all time favorite shows so Reborn is a no-watch for me.

I haven't checked out The Player or Minority Report yet.

Re: New Television Shows

I haven't seen an episode Rosewood but based on the trailer they played during Empire there is probably dozens of current cop/crime shows just like that already airring.

Oh I like Code Black. It's sort of like ER (based on reviews but I've never watched ER)

I call it the poor man's Bones.

I can deal with another procedural show. However, it's the way they are delivering their lines that gets on my nerves. It's cute overload.

I don't think it's long for this world in its present form.

Re: New Television Shows

This is the problem I've always had with Heroes. Everything is a mystery and we are expected to know what's going on. It's one thing to build suspense, it's another to actually drag their viewers around the bush until they put a mini cliffhanger at the end of each episode after putting us through the ringer.

Re: New Television Shows

my god you're such basic peasants. Watching heroes, blindspot and those shitty shows. get a clue. There is masterpieces like The American, The leftovers, Bojack, Fargo around there for the taking.

Yeah. I'm basic enough to know that none of the shows you listed are new.

But these are not new shows
I loved The Leftovers first Season. Can't wait to see what's next. The Americans is very good too. I have Fargo firsr Season in store but not started watching yet.
Never heard about Bojack.

Re: Heroes, I agree with eck. I liked the pilot of Heroes Reborn yet I have no much confidence on it. I really could only bear one Season of the original show. First Season was very good but Second Season was a mess and made me stop watching it.

BTW I'm not sure if it's a new show or from last year but You're the Worst is brilliant

He can't read more than two words at a time, so the "new" got filtered out.

Françoise Abanda, Félix Auger-Aliassiame, Fedex, The Stanimal, The Dog Dolgopolov, Petr Korda, The Borg, Mlad the Impaler, Ana Ivanovic

and, of course, her majesty, la reine
