I don't know if this story is true but I can tell you for a fact that many Hollywood celebs engage in on set behavior that would most definitely get them "ass whooped" in the real world.
People who you think of a nice and friendly are actually bitter, petty, bullying and often passive aggressive in carrying out their shitty attitude problems.
Executive Producers can shit on everyone below them; Directors often shit on everyone except the Exec. Prod.; The main stars often shit on the other featured actors; the other featured actors often shit on the extras and the behind the scenes workers; and theres even more to it than that.
This downhill cycle of shitting on the people below you only gets upset when someone from the outside that isn't concerned about finding their "next Hollywood gig" stands up for themselves.
These people usually get fired fast but behind the scenes lots of people pat them on the back. I won't go into details but this has even happened to me (fired for not taking shit off of a VIP) but it was just a bullshit temp job for me anyway.
I would say that if the above incident is real, and I don't even know about a Badu-Leone project in production, the only way you'll ever know who's fault it really was is by who works with the production company again. If they work with Badu again, then you know Tea (the bigger Hollywood celeb and the person most likely to "not be blamed even if guilty") was the fuck up.
Tea reportedly had major problems with her old sitcom in which she played a tabloid reporter (if memory serves) and had jealousy issues with her co-stars even though she was clearly the star (best lines most face time etc...) and got most of them replaced (sitcom was a flop anyway).
So I would be lessed than shocked in a scenario where Tea did the shit on the little guy thing that is the status quo in Hollywood and Badu did the "beat a mother fucker down for talking shit" thing that is the status quo in Hip Hop.
Like I said, I know nothing about this, but I could definitely see it happening.
If your fave's coach isn't Richard Williams, that's just her first problem
