Arrow J.Lo adds Jane Fonda to her list of high profile co-stars

In a film career that only dates back to her uncredited debut in 1995’s “Mi Familia My Family”, superstar Jennifer Lopez has worked with many high profile names, including 11 Oscar Winners (including Jack Nicholson, Robin Williams, Jon Voight, Robert Redford) and several former Oscar nominees (including Edward James Olmos, Diane Lane, Ralph Fiennes, Morgan Freeman).

Add Jane Fonda as her Ms. Lopez’s 12th Academy Award-winning co-star.

They team up “Monster-In Law”, due in theatres in 2004. This will be Jane Fonda's first appearance in a feature film in 14 years, since 1990's "Stanley & Iris", in which she costarred with Robert de Niro.

The plot for the films is as follows:

Charlotte "Charlie" Honeywell (Jennifer Lopez) is a professional dog walker who has a hard time finding any good men to date, with her social life mostly composed of continually disastrous blind dates. Her dreams seem to come true, however, when she meets Kevin, the perfect guy... until she meets his mother (Jane Fonda), who thinks no girl is good enough for Kevin, and *especialy* not Charlie. With her mother-in-law trying to sabotage the relationship, can Charlie's dream of a perfect wedding and marriage ever happen?

Ms. Fonda is in good company. The following high profiles actors have worked with Ms. Lopez since she made her film debut in 1995:

1995 “Mi Familia My Family” - Edward James Olmos, Jimmy Smits

1995 “Money Train” - Woody Harrelson, Wesley Snipes

1996 “Jack” - Robin Williams, Diane Lane

1996 “Blood and Wine” - Jack Nicholson, Michael Caine, Judy Davis

1997 “Selena” - Edward James Olmos (again)

1997 “Anaconda” - Jon Voight

1997 “U-Turn” - Nick Nolte, Sean Penn, Billy Bob Thornton, Joaquin Phoenix, Jon Voight (again)

1998 “Out of Sight” - George Clooney, Ving Rhames, Don Cheadle

2000 “The Cell” - Vince Vaughn

2001 “The Wedding Planner” - Matthew McConaughey

2001 "Angel Eyes" - Sonia Braga

2002 “Enough” - Juliette Lewis

2002 “Maid in Manhattan” - Ralph Fiennes, Bob Hoskins, Natasha Richardson, Stanley Tucci

2003 “Gigli” - Ben Affleck, Al Pacino, Christopher Walken

2004 “Jersey Girl” - Ben Affleck, Liv Tyler, Matt Damon
