Talking 2003 World Series Thread - Yankees vs. Marlins!

The series starts on Saturday at Yankee stadium.

Does anyone have any predictions?

I think it will go to seven games, but I don't know who will win.

Marlins!

When was the last time they made the World Series? I became a fan back then Not that I know anything about them, living in Europe and all

I kinda like the Yankees too, but they have enough titles, Go Marlins!

What would you say if we could make
something amazing

Everytime this thing comes on it's the Yankees that's playing. The other teams suck or what?

I think the Marlins with their great speed and power will give the Yankees some problems. But in the end I'll go with the Yankees in 6 games because of their experience and superior pitching. I think the teams will split games in New York. Then the Yankees will win 2 out of 3 in Florida. Than close it out back in New York in 6 games.

P.S. - There will be alot of Yankee fans at the World Series games in Florida. And that could upset the Marlins and cause them to press which would be advantageous to the Yankees.

Happiness is like a cat. If you try to coax it or call it, it will avoid you. It will never come. But if you pay no attention to it and go about your business, you'll find it rubbing up against your legs and jumping into your lap. - William Bennett

After my many years of hatred, I will admit that they Yankees always win because they are the best team, and other teams know this, so they find a way to fuck it up when they are in position to win (right Bosox?)

I'm only sad to learn that one of these teams has to win
