All I can say is that I have seen Joyce DeWitt on lots of interviews and she seems to be an extremely bitter and angry person with respect to her years on Three's Company, particularly against Suzanne Somers. I bet if they do appear for a tribute, it will be just that, an appearance. They will both be on stage for it, but neither says a word to each other. DeWitt didn't think much of Ritter either over the "spin-off scandal" so I am surprised DeWitt would appear at all. But you never know, maybe death will bring them together.
Somers did the right thing with the show FOR HER. But doing the right thing for her made things hard and awkward for DeWitt and Ritter, they had every right to be bitter at her, at least at the time. I can't imagine carrying the grudge for 20 years. Somers did the right thing, but DeWitt had every right to be angry with her and shun her from the set. So, I don't have any problem with what any of them did at the time. From each's viewpoint, they were justified.
