Smile Valentine's Day - Do you like it?

Do you like Valentine's Day?

I'm okay with it.

Some people fall in love and then forget their friends

Isn’t it romantic, to be romantic

Smile. Today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday

No. It's tacky.

When I'm in a relationship it's an obligation plus weeks of "should I get him a present?" angst. WHen I'm single it makes me feel isolated.

Completely depends on whether you have a partner, if you do it's one of the best days of the year. if not

and where they produce desolation, they call it peace

Why should u just have to have one special day where u tell your partner you love them and send them flowers. Valentines Day is the worst example of a corporate driven, mass marketed, fake, plastic celebration day celebrated only by the fickle and easily drawn in people who are gullibale enough to fall into companies traps to "buy something to show affection for your partner or she'll dump you". It just makes me sick, all the commercialism of it. And it's woeful if you're single, plus who sends someone a Valentines card as a way of asking them out? I mean the person who says yes to that is obvioulsy as shallow as the person who sent it!

(I'm bitter cos I'll be alone on Valentines day )

I love it!! Its my birthday, so I always get plenty of roses!!!

Although they arent all valentines roses, their "Happy Birthday" roses, but the people passing me in the street holding 4 or 5 roses dont know that!!

I don't really pay too much attention to it really...I don't get down if I don't have someone to celebrate it with, but I don't make a deal of it if I have someone to celebrate it with either. I think it's a bit cheesy and over the top myself, but at least it gets people to try and be a little more thoughtful towards the people they care about.

Well, it can be a problem for me - having to open all those cards in the morning post makes me late for work. It's one of the things that I must handle in life I guess.
