in my teen years i wanted to be a cricketer, i had serious goals of trying to get into my open state team within 2 years of leaving high school but in year 10 i got a shoulder injury and never fully recovered and i was an express bowler so i basically had no choice but to give that up. other than that i haven't really had anything i've wanted to be other than fantasy dreams like being a celeb. i did want to be a songwriter for a couple of years and i'm hoping to pursue that next year. i'll do some courses and see how other people do things and go from there. apart from that wanted to be a pro tennis player (i still do) but i only started tennis this year and i'm 18, i'm told i have talent but i am a bit old to develop all of it. they told me if i had started in high school then i could have been pro. my goal is to just playing some future events or something but it could take me awhile before i get there because i'm not doing tennis fulltime.
but you just finished 1st year uni, you shouldn't worry about a profession now. relax and have fun at uni because when you finish uni you're going to be working for like 30 or 40 years without many breaks to be able to just sit back relax and have fun. imo opinion trying to figure oout what you want to to makes it harder to decide. imo it just comes to you when your ready.
Go the aussies! stosur!!!
