Unhappy Bob Hope has died, at age 100.

That's so sad, he was a great, great man. He did some much for the American troops, and brought his humour to everyone. He will be missed, but his memories will carry one for generations, Im sure.

Mr. Hope!

Come back EVENTUALLY Cappy!! Ok this clearly was written back in a day when I still had faith..

Bob Hope had a great life and made alot of people happy in his 100 years!

Happiness is like a cat. If you try to coax it or call it, it will avoid you. It will never come. But if you pay no attention to it and go about your business, you'll find it rubbing up against your legs and jumping into your lap. - William Bennett

"thanks for the memories" Bob - my fave movie of his was the comedy western "The Paleface" with Jane Russell - she played Calamity Jane on a secret mission and marries Bob ( a timid dentist) as a cover - it was very funny

Bob turned in a stellar performance in a non-comedy starring role in a 1957 movie about a flamboyant ex-NYC Mayor. The film was Beau James and I highly recommend it for NYers, ex-NYers, and political junkies like me!

I don't know why everyone is so sad. He lived to 100, that is a very full life and he hasn't been in the best of shape in recent years. Unfortunately people can't life forever.

Rest in Peace.
