The "Help me, I've just traded in my house for some magic beans" thread.

Well I say it's my house... It's actually in my dads name but I've signed over all the deeds to this long haired bloke and bearded woman who offered me either some pegs or some magic beans for it. Well obviously the lure of the combination of magic... and beans... was too much. We have to move out tomorrow and live in a campsite until we can find temporary accomodation suitable enough.

The only hope I have is that Jack (of Beanstalk fame) had some luck with a magic bean transaction.

You was robbed mate!!

With the current healthy state of the housing market, a three bed semi in Belper should be worth at least five beans, two turnips and a fish and chip supper (mushy peas extra, buy yer own pop,)!!

I know a good campsite in Whatstandwell but you might end up having to support Matlock Town.

as makes the angels weep.

Well I traded the beans in for some peas. I sold the peas to Lockwoods of Ambergate who have since made them into their fine mushy product (probably the only haulage company in the world which has a mushy peas side project). The money I received went on a fish and pea mix supper at Georges Tradition, yet to my amazement, I could identify the peas used were infact the ones I sold to Lockwoods, and now they are in me belly.

Whatstandwell Quandry - Ellen McArthur is Whatstandwell's most famous resident. But I mean surely you can't prepare for a round the world yacht race on the River Derwent or Carsington Water just up t'road.
