"Clean water is something most of us take for granted, but over a billion people in the world do not have access to it, and over two billion people lack basic sanitation. Every 15 seconds a child dies from water-related diseases as a result. ...
WaterAid is dedicated exclusively to the provision of safe domestic water, sanitation and hygiene education to the world's poorest people. It was established in 1981 and, to date, has helped over seven million people. It currently works in 15 countries in Africa and Asia. ...
WaterAid is independent and relies heavily on voluntary support. Your support today will help expand our work to help more of world's poorest people gain access to safe water for life."
The plastic industry sponsors Wateraid for every click we make on their website:
For every click you make (only one click a day) Wateraid gets 0.1 Euro.
It is just an idea but maybe it isn't a bad to have a special section on wtaworld for "aid per click" programs. We are all surfing the net, most of us almost every day and we all have the possibility to help by spending only a few seconds of our free time. This website has about 17000 registered visitors, even if only one percent could find the time then we could still generate +5000 euro a year.
It's great to help other people. I hope that one day those poor people of Africa and other places can surf the internet just as we do. Maybe we'll meet them on the boards then ... or we cheer for them if they are talented tennis players and have the money to start a career.
