Conrad wanted war because after achieving glory he thought Gina would finally relent, divorce her husband and marry him

I've explained other factors in another thread.
Honor? France pleaded England to enter the war, crying, " don't you have honor?!" Anti German British Foreign Ministry personnels such as Nicolson and Crowe despaired against Grey's vagueness and deplored England's lack of honor, etc.
