Today is Vivling's 100th birthday

Come on, I know there are fans around here. One of the silver screen's true legends. There will never be another.

Life tribute to Vivien here

I've seen almost all of her films: Fire over England, Gone with the Wind, Waterloo Bridge, That Hamilton Woman, Anna Karenina, Streetcar, Roman Spring of Mrs Stone, Ship of Fools. Which one is your favourite?

Mine, like hers, is Waterloo Bridge.

She was just fantastic!! I wonder if she hadn't been so mentally ill, would she have not been such a good actress, or even better?

I think Streetcar is her best work, but it's too disturbing for me to watch often, so I have to say my favorite is Roman Spring of Mrs. Stone.

Whitney Houston and her receipts:

Funny, as just the other day I was thinking I need to watch more of her films. They really don't make them like this any more.
