Where does Miley Cyrus go from here?

Her MTV performance.
The last video.
In Italy we already call her Hanna Puttana.
Where is she going from this point? Is this her lowest low?

Looks like your typical child star gone wrong. I don't think her super-trashy VMA performance is where it will end.

Her last song isn't bad; don't know why she had to be naked in her vid?

However, it is necessary to consult me on all these matters (please call)”; “30 minutes prior to a training session: Mildronat – 1 Capsule. 30-45 minutes prior to a tournament Mildronat 2 capsules”.

It's all publicity. I don't think it's a cry for attention like Amanda Bynes. She's knowingly doing it because that's how you sell. She can easily be doing these songs without all these trashiness but it wouldn't sell as well as now.

Re: Where does Miley Cyrus go from here?

People forget that every one out there who performs for the public is an attention-seeker. She's just using another approach that a lot of people refuse to acknowledge is a legitimate way to ask for attention. Did she have to be naked in the video of what is actually a pretty decent song? No. But if that's what she wanted to do then that's fine. I don't think there's anything wrong with trying to push people's buttons. She's not always successful at it (see VMA performance and the video for Wrecking Ball), but I reckon she's doing this to drum up as much drama and buzz about her album. I bet the video for a single released once the album is out won't be as scandalous.

Probably a #1 record, and maybe possibly the #1 selling album of the year, a year with releases from other huge female pop acts like Brit, Gaga, Katy, etc.

Girl is KILLING it.

Yep, that seems to be the cliche route with a successful pop album. Slut it up, get people talking and then be Mother Mary.

I remember Christina Aguilera's Stripped phase. She does Dirrty and then Beautiful. Everyone hates her and then loves her again.

Gotta hand it to Miley though. Can't Be Tamed was a nice middle ground to do at 17. Now she is 20, she's going all out ball to the wall, literally, according to her last video.

Re: Where does Miley Cyrus go from here?

She is slaying the charts. Knocked off Katy Perry from the no. 1 spot. Probably she'll end up with no. 1 album. She is doing great for herself, if you ask me. And wrecking ball is an awesome song. Her album's gonna rock for sure!
I don't see her going away anywhere.

Re: Where does Miley Cyrus go from here?

I never thought I would feel sorry for Billy Ray. He must be beside himself.

Miley has the singing talent and the resume. She doesn't need to do this to make money.

I am reminded of the end of this performance, though

I guess I shouldn't be surprised.
