Re: RIP Scotso

I didn't see this thread until now. Shocking news. I remember Scotso only too well.

Re: RIP Scotso

My condolences to Scot's family, loved ones and many friends. I never knew him beyond this board, but I always enjoyed him as a poster. He was opinionated, considerate, clever, intelligent and good-natured. I'm saddened by our loss.

"The noblest work of God? Man. Who found it out? Man." - Mark Twain

"Every normal man must be tempted at times to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin to slit throats." - H.L. Menken

Re: RIP Scotso

I just saw this and am having a hard time processing it.

Scotso was a great friend back in the day. I always looked forward to his posts. He was a very bright young man, and very welcoming of any new posters. I can't believe he's gone. This board will never be the same

Did he used to post under another name, or who was he on Sanex?

Sanex,........ Wow! Been years since I thought of that. I was there when it was shut down and came here. That was almost 12 years ago.

I have no idea who he was, but I'm sorry he died.

Re: RIP Scotso

Only saw the thread today .I remember him.

He was an independent thinker, not afraid to confront any orthodoxy .

His spirit will be missed.

Thanks Expat for posting it.

Re: RIP Scotso

Wow, I'm too caught off guard by this thread. I don't think I ever agreed with him on anything BUT I do remember a definite growth and maturity in his posts over the years. RIP I will say that those of us who were around when the board closed down for a few days knows how happy we were to see any WtaWorld poster on the internet... we may not get along and fight like cat and dogs but the old crew definitely had a family feel to it. I wish his loved ones peace and Grace through these tough times.

Re: RIP Scotso

Wow, not what I expected when I logged in today

My condolences to his family and to those of you who've lost a friend.

Reason is poor propaganda when opposed by the yammering, unceasing lies of shrewd and evil and self-serving men.

You know, it is something like a family amongst we old timers. We may disagree from time to time, but we forge bonds despite that. And when one of us goes down, it affects us deeply! Scotso is missed and remembered fondly.
