Alexis Matteo cute as a guy? I am sorry but he was FUGLY.

I am just not into femme guys so none of them caught my eye out of drag.

Re: RuPaul's Season 5

Also clearly Ru has a bias against Latin queens. Under the pretext of their poor English he eliminates them early.

The call for "immigration" on yesterday's episode was so "rude" as Lineysha put it.

Roxxxy seemes a lot more humble until he said he thought this season was the best in terms of talent. Really a pointless declaration, and no good coming from him.

What Latino queen could have gone further than they did? Rebecca Glasscock was top 3 in the first season (which she shouldn't have been); Jessica Wild was like top 6 or top 5, then was sent home because of her disastrous interview challenge which was deserved; season 3 had 3 Latinos in the top 5, Carmen, Alexis and Yara, and I can't see an argument for any of them being above Raja or Manila; season 4 has Phi Phi who went way further than he should have, then this season only has Lineysha as a real talent and she was floundering too much so I can't say her elimination was unfair either. Actually is Roxxxy Latino? I never paid attention. There'd be another one if he is. I don't see any reason to think RuPaul is biased against them. There's been several Latino queens at the top, just none of them have been quite good enough so far.

Chad's and Raja's expressions when she said that.

I think she was right though, although I do feel like had Chad, Sharon or Raja (Manila even) would have been on this season the winner would have been either one of them and not Jinkx.

Re: RuPaul's Season 5

Jessica Wild should have gone a lot further than she did. Same with Yara and Lineysha. Alexis was annoying but still better than Manila.

All the others spoke better English.

Lineysha is from Puerto Rico right? If so he is an American citizen.... so taking offense to the "immigration" comment would have been kinda moot...

Now if he was an Illegal Mexican drag queen it might have been a different story .

Re: RuPaul's Season 5

How could Jessica Wild have gone further? She literally crashed and burned in her interview and was by far the worst that week. When you're that far into a season doing that bad in a challenge is a death sentence.

Yara started crying in the middle of a lipsync, and looked awful that week. She literally broke down in tears in the middle of a performance and gave up. She didn't deserve to go any further. As for Alexis, I never liked her looks and Manila had been amazing in the second half of the season. That was close, but Manila deserved it.

Lineysha is honestly the only one who I think should have gone further based on her talent, but she was pretty middling and not standing out in challenges.

Sorry but the Princess was NOT fem.

Mateo wasn't really all that fem either IMO.... well with all things being considered that is.

Re: RuPaul's Season 5

I loved Tatianna but her going further than Jessica was

Maybe I am wrong but I feel like their "poor" English skills overshadows their talent.

There is probably some truth to that opinion.

It is hard to win tons of fans and support when you don't know english very well and your audience is almost completely english speaking.

I got to say, the statenent 'there maybe some truth to that opinion' is ridiculous. There is truth to every opinion whether you agree or not.

Anyyyyyway,

Lineysha, was always going to be canon fodder anyway, with such poor English skills. They have too many challenges that require a language clarity that she seemed to not posess.

As dumb as it may sound not knowing an AMERICAN pop culture icon like Diana Ross sort of eliminates you from really being America's Next Drag Superstar. If drag is one thing it certainly is referencial.

A. If you are going to be catty... you might want to learn how to spell words like statement correctly.

B. Let me give you an example of why you aren't correct on this. "In my opinion squirrels can survive in Antartica without any food"..... if that was someone's opinion is there any truth in that?
Can a squirrel actually survive in -50 degree temperatures with no food source?

And so what if Lineysha doesn't know much about a singer from the 70s that was famous in a different country/territory from where he was born (not to mention one that hasn't been relevant for decades...).... some gay people are so oddly critical of others for not knowing every stereotypical gay icon from the last 100 years.

I guess if he didn't know much about Cher or Barbara Streisand he would be a worthless fool too huh?
