I agree, the last one had almost nothing to do with the originals, Splinter Cell was all about stealth and tactics, this one just has waves upon waves of people coming straight at you, some stuff is okay and graphics are alright, but gameplay can't compete at all.

I saw the gameplay demo, which looked a bit more stealthy than Conviction. The problem is that the market these days is more open to gung ho shooters like COD.

Older CODs were much better than this new crap, which is way over the top, back then you could actually enjoy the single player campaigns. Loved the first one, where they basically took inspiration from movie depictions of real life events.

Yessss to both.

Theme Hospital is such a classic. The inflation room

Also a bit of a sucker for the Sims games. I could spend hours and hours on them. Ridiculously addictive.

Ok then can I come over and play it at your house

But seriously, aren't there some similar free (legal) strategy games of a decent quality?

Re: Your favourite PC game?

Sim City, Age of Mythology and Warcraft 3 were great childhood memories! The Age of Empires and The Sims series were also so amazing.

Too bad I don't really have time any more to play videos games. I miss those childhood days.
