Re: NBA thread 2012-13

The Heat did it again, and once more in double-figures. Wade was unstoppable tonight. The other two were pretty good as well.
Spurs made some nice passes in transition, unfortunately a lot of them were to the other team
Even more frustrating is that the Green-Neal duo were scorching yet again (7/11 combined from downtown) but SA played too stupid basketball to take advantage.
The 4th quarter in particular was a horror show at both ends of the floor and somehow Ginobili just gets worse and worse with every game that goes by.

Away from the finals - the Nets have hired Jason Kidd as their coach. He only retired from playing about a week ago

Top 10: Ashleigh Barty, Caroline Garcia, Jamie Hampton, Jelena Jankovic, Agnieszka Radwanska, Lucie Safarova, Maria Sharapova, Karolina Sprem, Sam Stosur, Jarmila Wolfe.

All time favourite: Anna Chakvetadze

Pop is surely one of the best, if not the best, NBA coaches of the past 20 years, but his mind deserted him in the closing moments of this heartbreaking game 6. If Duncan is on the floor, Miami doesn't collect those two OR and we don't have a game 7 tonight. And don't get me started on benching Parker and giving the ball to Ginobili

Not optimistic about tonight.

Re: NBA thread 2012-13

Sick to my stomach.
It has to be said that Miami looked in control throughout the game and it's puzzling how the Spurs stayed so close. The Heat missed a lot of open looks and played great D that made everything difficult for SA.
LeBron and Wade came to work (don't think anyone expects much from Bosh at this point) and so did Duncan, but that miss on Battier in the final minute down 2
Leonard was great but it was not enough.
Ginobili closed his terrible playoffs with a horrendous final period after being decent till then, and Danny Green, sadly, decided to do a John Starks impersonation tonight
