GB wins only in 60s. Since 70s its all USA. And only two good things that came out of punk are Ramones (american band), and fact that punk slayed hippies

I'm alaways right, even when Im wrong...

Impossible to say whether nobody in the US has heard of something, especially with downloads and whatnot nowadays.

Here's one from way back:

Manics

EDIT: Make that two:

Re: Euro songs that USA has no idea of

sigh why can't people discuss a topic without making it a competition????

If there is music you enjoy why do Americans have to like it or even know about it?

I could just see the foaming of the mouth of some posters if I started a thread about American artista that Europe knows nothing about and then get into a discussion about who is better. I believe the first response would've been along the lines of America is not the only country in the world, who cares about what Americans like, yadda yadda yadda.....

If inclusion was the goal maybe you should've just said hey here are some European bands that I love and I wonder if people outside of Europe know about them? Just enjoy your music and share with people if you think they don't have enough followers..

Although surprisingly I heard "Allez Ola Ole" from Eurovision at a party in NY and I was stunned

It would be a crime for that song to be mentioned and then go unposted.

Re: Euro songs that USA has no idea of

Actually, I heard "Euphoria" play at a Greek restaurant in NY when I walked in and then I realized they were just playing whatever was on some Greek radio station

It's crazy though, Eurovision could be so popular in the US if people knew about it
