We love you here

The belief that man is an irresolute creature pulled this way and that by two forces of equal strength, alternately winning and losing the battle for his soul; the conviction that human life is nothing more than an uncertain struggle between heaven and hell; the faith in two opposed entities, Satan and Christ - all this was bound to engender those internal discords in which the mind, excited by the incessant fighting, stimulated as it were by the constant promises and threats, ends up by giving in and prostitutes itself to whichever of the two combatants has been more obstinate in its pursuit. Life isn't black and white, it's gold.

Yeah I guess it's right, it's just the way I want it to be, a bit more introverted than extroverted.
This result is very similar to mine, even %. Shame I somewhat lost the results link.
Although I guess this is me more or less, I only partially agree with the description.
Anyway I love how my job fits perfectly with the favoured careers

Can't argue against that characterization.

Re: What's your personality type?

Your type is: ESFJ

Extroverted (E) 51.22% Introverted (I) 48.78%
Sensing (S) 53.49% Intuitive (N) 46.51%
Feeling (F) 51.11% Thinking (T) 48.89%
Judging (J) 64.71% Perceiving (P) 35.29%

ESFJ - "Seller". Most sociable of all types. Nurturer of harmony. Outstanding host or hostesses. 12.3% of total population.

Not really sure I totally agree with mine - in the two description pages they state different things. In the detailed page...that sounds pretty right but still not 'me'. I think the percentages are closer to being accurate.

http://www.personalitypage.com/html/ESFJ.html

The less detailed page is TOTALLY inaccurate, especially about careers

Quote:
favored careers:
wedding planner, social worker, pediatrician, public health employee, kindergarten teacher, business consultant, nurse, human resources manager, office manager, executive assistant, public relations specialist, medical employee, human resources, office worker, social services, child care worker
disfavored careers:
artist, author, filmmaker, philosopher, video editor, musician, poet, tattoo artist, game designer, philosophy professor, international spy, film director, astronaut, art curator, scientist, computer consultant, cartoonist, graphics designer
For a start, I couldn't think of anything worse than working in a health/care profession (besides being a vet or working with animals in some way) ALL the careers they list as 'disfavoured' are things I actually do/love...artist, musician, designer, science, graphics, tattoos, computers...even wanting to be an astronaut So they totally wrong on ALL of that

Also it shows me as being more extroverted......erm, well yeah though I would say I am very friendly, VERY chatty...talk all the time (and most people who know me would say the same) but in reality I prefer to be on my own, being quiet and doing my own thing rather than be in social situations. (It said in description how I dislike being alone...totally not true, I'm an only child so always value time on my own)

Some bits are correct though...that I love learning about other people, caring etc...

It's not introvert/extrovert in the normal sense of those words. Introvert means you get your energy from being alone. That is you need down time. Extrovert means you surround yourself with other people to get your energy.

The fact that you are very friendly, VERY chatty and talking all the time could be why you're extrovert.

Also, disfavoured careers are things that wouldn't normally fit in with your personality. But you could like them out of interest for those areas.

Re: What's your personality type?

Born on the same day (not year) with Djokovic and Melzer so, some people may be curious. Maybe...

Introverted (I) 65.63% Extroverted (E) 34.38%
Intuitive (N) 69.44% Sensing (S) 30.56%
Thinking (T) 58.06% Feeling (F) 41.94%
Perceiving (P) 60% Judging (J) 40%

strikethrough = not true, comments in italic

loner, more interested in intellectual pursuits than relationships or family, wrestles with the meaninglessness of existence, likes esoteric things, disorganized, messy, likes science fiction (not extremely though), can be lonely, observer, private, can't describe feelings easily, detached, likes solitude (and hanging out with smart people), not revealing, unemotional, rule breaker, avoidant, familiar with the darkside, skeptical, acts without consulting others, does not think they are weird but others do (okay ), socially uncomfortable (not often), abrupt, fantasy prone, does not like happy people (I respect them for their simple minds, they are harmless), appreciates strangeness, frequently loses things (quite seldom), acts without planning (not always), guarded, not punctual (depends), more likely to support marijuana legalization (), not prone to compromise (I don't know actually ), hard to persuade, relies on mind more than on others, calm (not always).

favored careers:
philosopher, game designer, scientist, software engineer, freelance artist, research scientist, assassin ( hmm...), freelance writer, physicist, software developer, mathematician, geologist, computer scientist, philosophy professor, webmaster, slacker (), medical researcher, painter, mortician(), systems analyst, comic book artist, computer technician, website designer, scholar, archeologist, computer repair, forensic anthropologist, astronaut (), researcher, historian, systems engineer, genetics researcher, astronomer, environmental scientist, egyptologist

Wow, so accurate! As a kid I had to choose between science and art one day. Love astronomy, geology, anthropology, killing people, history, philosophy. Used to like math and physics before. Now I don't know, it's been too long.

I must be so selfish posting such a thing .

"Passion. Confidence. Intelligence. Open-mindedness. Humility.
These are the sexiest qualities one can strive to possess. "

IMHO
always, naturally
