GOT'S Lena Heady deserve the nomination and Peter should have been nominated in the lead actor category this year.

Re: 2012 Emmy nominations

Happy for Downton Abbey for sure. I think the comedy noms are decent, but really don't think Modern Family did the job this past season. Happy that both Veep & Girls got noms as both are fantastic shows.

Really think Busy Phillips and Dan Byrd give amazing comedic performances in Cougar Town, and if they could get past the name (which has no bearing on the actual show), it would get some positive recognition.

There is no leading actor/actress on Game of Thrones. I think they consider everyone as supporting ones. But Lena and Michelle should have one.

Lena Dunham aka Voice of Our Generation absolutely slaying.

A single flow'r he sent me, since we met./All tenderly his messenger he chose;
Deep-hearted, pure, with scented dew still wet - One perfect rose.
I knew the language of the floweret;/'My fragile leaves,' it said, 'his heart enclose.'
Love long has taken for his amulet/One perfect rose.
Why is it no one ever sent me yet/One perfect limousine, do you suppose?
Ah no, it's always just my luck to get/One perfect rose.

Re: 2012 Emmy nominations

Actors submit themselves into categories for the Emmys. If Dinklage is nominated for supporting, it's because he (and/or his representation) put himself there.

Re: 2012 Emmy nominations

ABC has some really great comedies. I think Modern Family is hilarious and one of the funniest shows ever, but can some of the other comedies get some love? Happy Endings and Suburgatory are truly underrated.

And no love for Person of Interest?

Re: 2012 Emmy nominations

Are the Emmys getting to a point where there needs to be separate categories for cable and network shows, at least in the drama category. I don't argue that the nominees are all deserving but the cable and network TV aren't on a level playing field anymore, especially in the drama category.
