Not many big releases this year so far. At least the results are not going to be obvious like the previous one.

Marion Bartoli - Michelle Larcher de Brito - Serena Williams - Venus Williams - Tamira Paszek

Glad to see they pushed back the eligibility period, because ending with August releases was ridiculous.

Re: 55th Grammy Awards - February 10, 2013

There definitely hasn't been that many album releases so far that could be considered AOTY nomination material. Off the top of my head, I can only think of:

Coldplay - Mylo Xyloto
Black Keys - El Camino
Flo + The Machine - Ceremonials
Jack White - Blunderbuss (They love to throw in an indie album. Also, White Stripes have been nominated before)

If Carly Rae Jepsen keeps releasing brilliant, uncomplicated, fun pop tunes like this one, I can't complain:

LOL...you'll what?

All of her zero hits and complete lack of credibility make her a solid contender no doubt.

I am on der Tvitter, accumulating haters. https://twitter.com/Hurleytennis
